Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhdaou Kasbah - Dades gorges

In this exciting and thrilling 03 day Morocco desert tour you will travel in style in a modern air-conditioned minibus. Our guide will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel and escort you to the departure point. We will travel over the Atlas Mountain range and descend into the Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou. The Kasbah is a place of wonder where you will feel almost like you have stepped back in time to the days of gladiators and ancient trading markets. Our next stop on our first day will be at Ouarzazate where you will admire the scenery of a city where several blockbuster movies have been filmed. The Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia are among the many films which have been filmed in the Gateway to the Desert. After lunch, we continue the trip venturing on to the Dades Valley. Once here you can relax and unwind at a private guesthouse in Dades with en-suite bathroom and enjoy the culinary delights of a Moroccan evening dinner.

Day 2: Dades gorges - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara Desert

Today we drive towards the Todra Gorges where many of rock climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Todra Gorge is simply jaw-dropping and has stunning scenery that makes you question why this has not been listed as a wonder of the world. A walk through the Gorges of Toudra then we continue our journey, following the ancient Bedouin trading road parallel with the Middle Atlas, passing a series of the fortified villages with outstanding pre-Saharian architecture. The route to Erfoud is one of the most pleasing of all the Southern routes. The town is known for its rich black fossils marble. We head down to the spectacular Merzouga dunes where sand dunes signify the start of the mighty Sahara Desert. We leave our vehicle and take a camel ride into the desert to a Berber camp, admire the sunset and spend the night under the stars in a Bedouin tent. After dinner, gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night with the traditional Berber live drums a chants.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast in the camp, we ride camels or 4WD back to Merzouga village where you will meet your driver/guide for a new journey back to Marrakech, driver through the arid landscapes of the anti-atlas Mountains, crossing the small Berber villages settled at the foothills of the volcanic Mountains, then to Draa valley with its huge palm groves. Stop for lunch on the road to Marrakech, and then continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains before we reach Marrakech by the end of the afternoon. Our majestic desert tour comes to an end and make sure to bid farewells and exchange numbers before drop off at your hotel. Have a safe and smooth rest of your Morocco Holiday!
